Sundberg Guitars
David Sundberg decided early on in his education at Carl Malmsten’s school for guitar building that he wanted to build steel stringed acoustic guitars. After three years of thorough tuition and hard work he completed his apprenticeship. His final project the S-J acoustic guitar received the highest possible mark, 5.0, and David was awarded a medal for his outstanding efforts.
During his education David had developed quite a name for himself and was already getting orders for custom made instruments. After graduating David started his own company Sundberg Guitars. Today David has his own workshop on Södermalm in Stockholm. You are welcome to visit if you’re interested in seeing how the process works, or if you want to try a Sundberg guitar for yourself.
